Making the City Loud and Proud for Leeds Pride 2024

Brief:

Leeds Pride is one of the largest one-day festivals in Yorkshire and a major contributor to the local economy with a footfall of over 60,000 choosing to visit in 2023. Now in its 18th year the team behind Leeds Pride wanted the 2024 event to be the biggest and best yet!

Leeds Pride partnered with PGHL to help raise the profile of the 2024 event beyond Leeds, encourage more visitors and secure sponsorship to support and enhance it.

Response:

PGHL used its PR and events expertise to elevate the reputation and profile of Leeds Pride. Utilising a mix of PR, social media and influencer partnerships, we managed press launches, advertising support and curated fringe events across the city.

We also used our extensive network of contacts to bring together potential partners and corporate sponsors to increase spend on sponsorship packages.

Our events team managed a fabulous pre-pride VIP event at The Ivy, with celebs, influencers and drag entertainers. We also provided PR and event support on the day of the festival and media hosting.
